Prang Vejjajiva (1990) is an artist and a painter, living and working in Bangkok with her 30 cats. Prang graduated from Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, from Chulalongkorn University (2013) with BFA Visual arts (Second Class Honour). She had her first solo exhibition “I wonder a Wonderland” at Koi Art Gallery(2013). Prang received MFA Fine Arts from School of Visual Arts (2017) in New York City. She also exhibited in group shows around New York City, “Becoming Shades” at SVA Flatiron gallery (2017), MFA Thesis exhibition “Cognitive Dissidence” at Ray Smith Studio (2017), “Spring Residency showcase” at Con Artist Collective (2018), and “Getting Personal” at SFA Projects (2018). Prang spent a year after graduation with gallery internship with SFA Projects and residency program at Con Artist Collective. She moved back to Bangkok permanently in 2018 and had a full-time job for a year. In late 2019, Prang became a full-time artist and had another solo exhibition “Living Cemetery” at 10ml. Cafe Gallery. In 2020, during the pandemic, she participated in a mural painting project “Colour Of Charoenkrung” by CEA and TCDC. Her mural painting is located in Charoenkrung 24, Talad Noi in Bangkok. The project aimed to support and recover tourism in Bangkok.
